Recycling & Creativity

You have 3 hours to design and make, as a team, a “work” that uses recycled materials.

A “random” recovered object (watering can, wheelbarrow, bicycle wheel, mirror, rear-view mirror, a broom, broken toys, stuffed toys…) will be given to each team and must be incorporated in the work of art to obtain a bonus from the final jury.

While working, the teams can win tokens by completing fun tests organised by Action Team Training (tokens that give access to a bartering area to swap objects).

The teams work in an area where each team has 2 tables.

The first table (or pallet) contains sundry recovered objects (“CESI” waste – PMC – Wire  – plastic containers – old books etc…) with which the teams must create their works of art.

The second table is a “work” table.

The “work” space also houses the “Experts’ Table” (one Expert per group of 2 to 4 teams).

The Experts are artists, visual artists, artisans or designers who can assist the teams with the design and creation of the works of art.

The Experts also have specific equipment that will be used by them (or under their supervision) such as power saws, drills, glue guns etc.

At the end of the allotted time, all the works will be exhibited and a Jury will choose the 3 or 5 best ones.

These will be taken back to your company’s head office on temporary display.

• to create an event on the theme of Creativity and Environment & waste recovery. Other themes are possible and welcomed.
• To create in teams “sculptural” works based on recovered objects.
• The works can represent particular themes (Mobility/Energy/Paper/Waste/Water etc.).
• To spend time together, sharing skills, enjoying fun and participatory activities.
